Energysquare wireless charging?

Hey guys,
What do you think about wireless charging?
Would you be interested if OneDevice supports the Energysquare full speed wireless charging?

The main interest is that it charges the phones at full speed, not like induction which is very slow.
Also the charging pads are much bigger.
If you check their video, you’ll see they use a sticker on smartphones to be able to use on their pads. But if we integrate the technology on the smartphone hardware, then we won’t need any sticker.

The downside is that it’s a startup which is making them, and availability of the charging pads is not yet clear. I got pads from their Kickstarter, but they seemed to has discontinued those. I’ll get it touch with them to know what’s possible.

Bonne idée la recharge sans fil mais attention a trouver des partenaires/fournisseurs viable!!!!
De mon coté, c’est un plus mais pas indispensable.
Trouver le bon écran, le bon proc, le bon APN, la bonne mémoire c’est l’essentiel surtout si tu veux tenir un prix contenu…. De mon avis il faut peut être se tenir à être concurrent de modèle middle gamme comme le pixel 3A.
Bon, en tout cas, j’y crois à ton projet 😉
Et fait nous un questionnaire pour que l’on puisse te répondre pour peaufiner les besoin 😉 (avec ou sans écran E-ink!!!)

La recharge sans-fil se développe de plus en plus, meme les fabricants de meuble si mettent, Ikea, Celio et autres… le concept du OneDevice est de trouver le meilleur compromis que nous ne trouvons plus chez les fabricants de smartphones qui imposent (Plus ou moins leur technologie… voir l’intérêt du smartphone pliable???, cela s’appelle la création de la demande en marketing)…. mais la recharge sans fil se retrouve dans notre environnement meubles (Comme je disais), voiture, luminaire… donc l’idée est aussi de s’appuyer sur le développement d’un produit avec un horizon dans le futur.

Je préfère de loin garder l’écran e-ink que d’avoir la charge sans fil 🙂

Quoique le Yotaphone avait les 2 donc les technologies ne doivent pas être incompatible

@Leorioki this wireless technology does not use waves. It charges with metal pin contacting on a surface.

If this will increase the thickness consider instead Super Vooc 2. It will charge the phone from 0 to 100 in 15/20 minutes. That would be also smaller battery = less weight

I feel that to the current dev stage wireless charging is kinda pointless and leads to an increased price.
Pointless because even tho you can throw your phone in charge, you actually can’t: you need to accurately place it onto the coils.
Then you need them to be connected to a phone charger… using a cable 😀
Then you can’t use the phone even for a brief call without moving it out of range. This would lead to a battery degrade quite bigger because of the many more recharging cycles you are gonna perform.
Instead, I would go for a very fast charging protocol. If standard it would be even better, cause we like standards 😀 (yes, I’m looking at you Quick Charge 4.0 with PD).

Le protocole de charge rapide, ne plombe pas la durée de vie de la batterie ?
Car l’idée n’est pas d’avoir un téléphone HS au bout de quelque temps, la recharge sans fil se démocratise, donc est-ce que cette techno est maitrisé ou un argument marketing.
Sinon sur le projet la batterie sera remplaçable facilement ou non ?

Хорошая идея. Я считаю, что YotaPhone2 достаточно удачно получился, намного лучше третьей модели, было бы бы неплохо иметь функцию беспроводной зарядки. А в сочетании с компактностью, выдвижной камерой и мощной начинкой смартфон получился бы просто супер. И не забыть добавить двойной лоток для сим-карты ☝️😊

Yes we will probably use a those trays with 2 sim and one SD.
For wireless it seems not all agree.
My long term goal is to promote the use of desktop mode to replace computers. While doing so you have to be connected. Which would mean that the phone is pretty much always charged up. So wireless would not really be usefull in that use-case.
